Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KDF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KDF1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KDF1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KDF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, STAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where KDF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
