Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCNQ1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KCNQ1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KCNQ1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCNQ1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, UVM, and STAD are the cancer types where KCNQ1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
