Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCNK15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCNK15 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher KCNK15 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCNK15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, LUSC, and COAD are the cancer types where KCNK15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
