Across TCGA patient cohorts, KCNJ16 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 66 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible KCNJ16-associated genes across cancer lineages are 4E-BP1, Cyclin-E2, and INPP4B. Each is linked with KCNJ16 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KCNJ16-to-partner and partner-to-KCNJ16 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, 4E-BP1 grouped by KCNJ16-low versus KCNJ16-high in UCEC.
