Across TCGA patient cohorts, KCNJ11 RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,206 significant associations in total. TGCT shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KCNJ11-associated genes across cancer lineages are ABCC8, INPP5J, and SRCIN1. Each is linked with KCNJ11 in more than 27 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KCNJ11-to-partner and partner-to-KCNJ11 results are reported.
