Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCNH8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCNH8 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KCNH8 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCNH8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRC, and OV are the cancer types where KCNH8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
