Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KBTBD2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KBTBD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher KBTBD2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KBTBD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where KBTBD2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
