Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KANSL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KANSL3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher KANSL3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KANSL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, READ, and THCA are the cancer types where KANSL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
