Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KANK3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KANK3 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher KANK3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KANK3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG and ESCA are the cancer types where KANK3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
