Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IYD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IYD data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher IYD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IYD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where IYD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
