Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IYD mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IYD data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher IYD mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IYD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and COAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where IYD mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
