Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ITPKB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ITPKB data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ITPKB Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ITPKB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, OV, and LIHC are the cancer types where ITPKB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
