Across TCGA patient cohorts, ITIH5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,309 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ITIH5-associated genes across cancer lineages are FHL5, CLEC14A, and GPIHBP1. Each is linked with ITIH5 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ITIH5-to-partner and partner-to-ITIH5 results are reported.
