Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ITGAM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ITGAM data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ITGAM Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ITGAM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, ESCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where ITGAM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
