Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ITGAM mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ITGAM data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ITGAM mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ITGAM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.

COAD, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ITGAM mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
