Across TCGA patient cohorts, ITGAM protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,073 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ITGAM-associated genes across cancer lineages are SIRPB1, MEFV, and PLAUR. Each is linked with ITGAM in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ITGAM-to-partner and partner-to-ITGAM results are reported.
