Across TCGA cell cohorts, ITGAM RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,441 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ITGAM-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of microglial cell mediated cytotoxicity, Regulation of microglial cell mediated cytotoxicity, and Canonical NF-kappaB signal transduction. Each is linked with ITGAM in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ITGAM-to-partner and partner-to-ITGAM results are reported.
