Across TCGA patient cohorts, ITGAE RNA expression is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 13,604 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ITGAE-associated genes across cancer lineages are PIK3CA, EP300, and AKAP9. Each is linked with ITGAE in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ITGAE-to-partner and partner-to-ITGAE results are reported.
