Across TCGA patient cohorts, IRGM RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,077 significant associations in total. STAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible IRGM-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Chondrocyte differentiation, Regulation of cilium assembly, and Regulation of myeloid cell differentiation. Each is linked with IRGM in more than 21 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both IRGM-to-partner and partner-to-IRGM results are reported.
