Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IQCC RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IQCC data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher IQCC RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IQCC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and READ show a favorable association.

LIHC, BRCA, and ACC are the cancer types where IQCC RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
