Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IQCC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IQCC data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher IQCC Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IQCC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where IQCC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
