Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INPP5D mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated INPP5D data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher INPP5D mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated INPP5D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.
COAD, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where INPP5D mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
