Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INMT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated INMT data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher INMT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated INMT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, SARC, and SKCM are the cancer types where INMT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
