Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL9R Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL9R data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IL9R Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL9R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where IL9R Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
