Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL4 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IL4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where IL4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
