Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL33 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IL33 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher IL33 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

KIRP, BRCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where IL33 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
