Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL23R RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IL23R data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IL23R RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL23R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CHOL show a favorable association.

HNSC, CHOL, and LUAD are the cancer types where IL23R RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
