Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL22 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL22 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IL22 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where IL22 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
