Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGSF3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGSF3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher IGSF3 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGSF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where IGSF3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
