Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGLV1-62 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of IGLV1-62’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where IGLV1-62 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types IGLV1-62 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, STAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where IGLV1-62 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
