Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV2-28 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGKV2-28 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGKV2-28 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV2-28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

HNSC, SKCM, and UVM are the cancer types where IGKV2-28 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
