Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV1-5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGKV1-5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher IGKV1-5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV1-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

BLCA, KIRP, and COAD are the cancer types where IGKV1-5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
