Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV1-35 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGKV1-35 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher IGKV1-35 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV1-35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and ESCA show a favorable association.

SKCM, GBM, and UCEC are the cancer types where IGKV1-35 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
