Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV1-17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGKV1-17 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher IGKV1-17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV1-17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

CESC, OV, and LUAD are the cancer types where IGKV1-17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
