Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV1-13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGKV1-13 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher IGKV1-13 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV1-13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and LIHC are the cancer types where IGKV1-13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
