Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHVIII-22-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHVIII-22-2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher IGHVIII-22-2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHVIII-22-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRP, STAD, and DLBC are the cancer types where IGHVIII-22-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
