Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHVII-40-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHVII-40-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher IGHVII-40-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHVII-40-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and THYM show a favorable association.

LIHC, STAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where IGHVII-40-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
