Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV7-56 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV7-56 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGHV7-56 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV7-56 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and MESO show a favorable association.

HNSC, ACC, and DLBC are the cancer types where IGHV7-56 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
