Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV7-40 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV7-40 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher IGHV7-40 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV7-40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, UCS, and UVM are the cancer types where IGHV7-40 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
