Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV4-4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGHV4-4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher IGHV4-4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV4-4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where IGHV4-4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
