Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV3-52 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV3-52 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher IGHV3-52 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV3-52 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and COAD show a favorable association.
ACC, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where IGHV3-52 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
