Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV3-50 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV3-50 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher IGHV3-50 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV3-50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and STAD show a favorable association.

KIRP, HNSC, and GBM are the cancer types where IGHV3-50 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
