Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV3-35 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV3-35 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 8 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGHV3-35 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV3-35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BRCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, BRCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where IGHV3-35 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
