Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV1OR16-4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV1OR16-4 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGHV1OR16-4 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV1OR16-4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PAAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRC, and THCA are the cancer types where IGHV1OR16-4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
