Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV1-2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGHV1-2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher IGHV1-2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV1-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where IGHV1-2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
