Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHD3-9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGHD3-9 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher IGHD3-9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHD3-9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where IGHD3-9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
