Across TCGA patient cohorts, IGHD3-16 RNA expression is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 8,535 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible IGHD3-16-associated genes across cancer lineages are KRAS, MUC16, and FNDC3A. Each is linked with IGHD3-16 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both IGHD3-16-to-partner and partner-to-IGHD3-16 results are reported.
