Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGFBP5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGFBP5 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher IGFBP5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGFBP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, COAD, and GBM are the cancer types where IGFBP5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
