Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGBP1-AS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGBP1-AS2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher IGBP1-AS2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGBP1-AS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, LIHC, and COAD are the cancer types where IGBP1-AS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
