Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGBP1-AS2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of IGBP1-AS2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where IGBP1-AS2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types IGBP1-AS2 is over-expressed in tumor.

COAD, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where IGBP1-AS2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
